For Suffolk Men’s A this was the final match of the season and Suffolk just needed a few more points to secure the Championship. The first session went well with Suffolk taking 8 out of 11 frames. MEN’S B

Suffolk B were too far behind Regional leaders Norfolk to stand a realistic chance of winning the Championship. However, they still wanted to win against Herts after having drawn against them earlier in the season. The first session was fairly close with Suffolk leading 6-5. They raised the pressure against Herts winning the next two sessions 7-4 each to lead 20-13. Herts made a bit of a comeback in the final session but at the end of the day Suffolk won the match 25-19.

Excellent results from P Cohen and S Whelan each taking 4 out of 4 and S Todd and J Huggins each took 3 out of 4.

With a few more strong players Suffolk B could be winning the Championship next season.

LADIES

Suffolk Ladies have not lost a game all season and as this was their last match they didn’t want to lose now. The match started very well for Suffolk only losing 2 frames out of the first 11.
